Gather & View the Moon and Mars
October 31, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Halloween is very special this year.
For the first time in 20 years a full moon falls on Halloween. And it is a blue moon, too. Mars is close to the Earth now so it appears large in our eastern night sky.
Join us for telescope viewing of both of these wondrous spheres and more. Bobcat Carruthers, astronomer and telescope maker, will teach us about the night sky.
Bring food and drink for yourselves.
Wear warm clothes and bring a flashlight. Halloween costumes are welcome but at least wear a mask!
Meet in the outdoor living room at Rocky Corner.
