Gather & Explore the Old Burial Ground

A ghostly tour of the Old Burying Ground on Meyers Road in Bethany will be held on Halloween Day, October 31, between 2-4 p.m. Tours will be led by members of the Bethany Historical Society. They will talk about the early history of the area and tell stories of some of the deceased buried there. The Old Burial Ground is the oldest cemetery in town, dating back to 1755, and some of the first residents are interred there. The event will be co-hosted by the folks at Rocky Corner Co-housing. We ask that visitors follow the parking directions that will be in effect. Please wear masks- the scarier, the better. Social distancing will be practiced. There will be wrapped candy for the kids! Any donations will be for the benefit of the Bethany Historical Society.
