It’s garlic planting time!
Garlic is one of the few vegetables that can be planted in our region in the fall for harvest next year.
Farmer Brenda will educate us about garlic; types of garlic, organic practices, soil prep, clove separation and planting.
Participants will help “pop” the cloves and plant a bed that has already been prepped. Use what you learn to plant your own beds this fall.
Meet at the red barn on Meyers Road. Parking is available at the barn. Or park at the common house and walk down to the barn.
